Our Story

CNG Initiative (Cleanliness is Next to Godliness) was born from a deep conviction: that we have both a moral and practical responsibility to care for the earth, our communities, and future generations. Founded in Oklahoma, our nonprofit is built on the belief that innovation, faith, and community action can come together to transform the way we handle waste and energy.

We are not just a recycling project. We are a movement — a vision to turn local waste into local power, to reduce environmental burdens, and to create clean, sustainable energy that benefits everyone. Though we are just at the beginning, our goal is to build scalable, community-centered recycling hubs and waste-to-energy projects that will spark real, measurable change.

Why It Matters

For too long, rural and small-town communities have been left out of the clean energy conversation. Landfills are filling up, recyclables are being wasted, and energy costs keep rising. CNG Initiative is here to change that. By creating local recycling hubs and innovative waste-to-energy solutions, we will not only reduce landfill overflow but also bring jobs, savings, and clean power to our neighbors.
